Coming Soon From Victory Point Games!

Rome: 10 BC. Augustus Caesar has just erected a mighty obelisk in the center of the Circus Maximus, in tribute to his conquest of Egypt. The huge arena is filled with over 150,000 Romans of all classes, from Senator to Slave. Men and women both mingle together, something not common at that time. All of these fans are assembled to watch the ludi circenses, the chariot races. Soon, the thunder of a dozen quadriga, four-horse drawn chariots, will race at breakneck speeds. The fans of the four different color factions are all in attendance. Banners of red, white, green and blue wave in the stands, as the fans cheer on their favorite drivers and teams. Only the whims of the Gods and the skill of the aurigae will determine who the victor will be.

Chariots of Rome is a fast-paced, competitive, chariot-racing board game for 2 to 8 players set in Ancient Rome's grand stadium, the Circus Maximus. Each player controls a unique Charioteer who races around the track for 2 laps. The game can also be played with up to four teams, each representing a Roman faction. However, these races are not decided simply by who can best handle the dangerous corners! Charioteers can whip and ram their opponents to eliminate them from the race. And remember, the gods are watching just as intently as the tens of thousands in the crowd, and they may be inclined to influence the race in their favor! So strap yourself into your chariot, ready your whip, and pay tribute to Rome in Chariots of Rome!
